INCLUSIVE IMPACTIVITY in the big green field!

Last Saturday (13.05.23) was an AMAZING day!

‘WolfPack Walks & Party In The Plaza’ is a free community-inclusive activity that we do at The Sustainable City, Dubai every month; but this was our last one before summer!

This activity is for everyone, for all ages & abilities. Everyone is welcome. Everyone is equal. It’s about community ‘togetherness’ - Inclusive Impactivity!

Considering it was so hot, we had an amazing turn out … THANK YOU to all those that joined us!

We started with a community 1.5km walk of inclusion around the beautiful grounds of The Sustainable City

After the walk we celebrated inclusion by watching inclusive performances from local talented performers.

We were honoured to have the UAE Special Olympics gymnastics team show us a demo of their routines for their upcoming competition in the Special Olympics World Games in Berlin; along with their coaches Sarah Mercer from Wellfit and Elke Vinck from Aspire Gymnastics Dubai

Then we had an inclusive singing performance by Double Treble - Evelyn & Amelia.

Followed by an inclusive dance performance by Noor & Ivana.

To end with we had an inclusive freestyle dance, lead by Instructor Ancy Alexander and our friends from Mawahe Dubai where the audience was encouraged to join in.

Every performer was AMAZING - thank you for sharing your talent with us! We had lots of wonderful active giveaways: a bike, balls, kites, frisbees, etc; all kindly sponsored by Udrive and free passes to Bounce UAE

To win the prizes we had fun challenges - some great dance offs for the big prizes!

Everyone on stage & in the audience were a mix of people with & without disabilities, no one was labelled, no one was introduced by their ability, everyone was just together as a community. A very special, fun afternoon, showing real inclusion!
