RIO’S MALLATHON FOR INCLUSIVE IMPACTIVITY
155+km • 31 Days • 1 Powerful Message: INCLUSION
WHAT?
Starting August 1st, Rio (22, a Person of Determination) will be run-rolling 5+km every single day at 7am as part of the @dubaimallathon challenge - that’s over 155km across 7 malls for an inclusion initiative close to our hearts.
WHY?
To raise sponsorship and awareness for our Team AngelWolf School Impact Talk & Walk Project - a free, motivational school iniative promoting empathy, equity, and community inclusion, delivered to schools across Dubai (private, government, POD centres, universities - Arabic & English speaking).
Each talk includes:
🎤 A motivational session with Nick & Tia Watson about the TAW journey
💬 A guest speaker (a POD with lived experience - paid role)
🐾 An Inclusive Walk where students push Rio in his race chair (like HH Sheikh Hamdan did during Dubai Run!)
🗣️ Arabic translation for accessibility (where needed) with an Emirati presenter
💡 Aligned with the UNCRPD, SDGs, and UAE’s Year of Community
