INCLUSIVE IMPACTIVITY at Sharjah Triathlon

Last weekend (29.04.23) we participated in the Sharjah Triathlon race by Endurance Sports Services and Sharjah Sports Council at Sharjah Corniche.

It was the first time we had done this race, and we LOVED it … perfect, beautiful venue location for a swim/bike/run and very well organised with so many amazing volunteers!

Great community triathlon with options of Kids Supsersprint, Super Sprint, Sprint and Olympic. Wonderful to see so many children participating and so many athletes of all different abilities.

Nick & Rio did the sprint distance (750m swim, 20km bike, 5km run) … they came 3rd in Nick’s age category!

(Tia was on a course so could not make it)

Rio was in his ‘happy place’ racing and we were very grateful to see how truly embraced and included he was, thank you all.

We can’t wait for the next race in the new season at this venue!

A big THANK YOU to the organisers of the event for embracing 'inclusion' & enabling us to take part in the race as we did, this truly helps to spread the mission message of TAW with Inclusive Impactivity further.

Thank you to all the volunteers involved in the race, that make the races possible & safe.

Thank you to all the other participants & supporters at the event, for the continuous support in cheering Rio on.
