Last weekend we competed in Sharjah Aquathon in Al Hamriyah by Endurance Sports Services.
For the new season, it was our third race, but first outdoor race; it was great to be out there again, and, the weather temperature for the swim and run was great! There was a choice of supersprint, sprint and children’s supersprint (great to see so many children racing!)
Nick and Rio together did the sprint distance - always a great course and well organised.
The best part of this race it always feels like a true relaxed, community race …. as participating are all ages (children to adults), mixed abilities (newbies to the experienced); and especially a great fun energy atmosphere with the huge participation from the Filipino community and the Fujairah Tri team! Everyone is welcome!
Rio is always embraced in their races and made to feel part of the Endurance SS family!
A great race to kick off the season … Rio was so happy to be out there again!
